I've wandered beyond remembrance
My mind is blank, I'm in a trance,
Images of what life was like echoes beyond,
my heart is empty of your song.


When you left you took everything,
My life, my happiness, you were my wings.
With you nothing was impossible,
Not even highly improbable.
I was at my best when I was with you,
Why couldn't you feel it too?

I thought we would go on forever in bliss,
I never thought I'd end up like this.
Wandering through life with not a care at all,
I never realized how far I could fall.

I fell so far, I don't know where to go,
In this world where no means yes and yes means no.
Where did you go, why did you leave me,
To lose my feathers and fall where I couldn't see.
